Charger (1. Generation) – Software Updates

• Upgrades have been made to the charger so that the relay opens dependably even when switched on and off rapidly, unexpected signals are processed better, and voltage is measured more accurately. This was all done with the aim of making the charger run more reliably.

• The charger software (v3.8.17;v3.29.12) has been updated based on the previous version (v3.8.13;v3.29.7) and also includes new security certificates to replace the old ones that expired.

• The charger software (v3.7.14;v3.25.3) has been updated based on the previous version (v3.7.12;v3.25.2) and also includes new security certificates to replace the old ones that expired.

• The charger software (v2.14.5;v3.16.8) has been updated based on the previous version (v2.14.4;v3.16.7) and also includes new security certificates to replace the old ones that expired.

• The status determination of the wallbox has been improved. This will stabilize communication between the wallbox and the vehicle.

• EEBus communication interface implemented (allows you to connect your wallbox to EEBus-enabled devices. For more information on EEBus please see the FAQs in our shop or visit the official EEBus website which you can find at eebus.org)

• upgrades to configuration manager (it is now easier and more intuitive to start up your wallbox unit. Upgrades include the ability to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi or, optionally, via LTE)

• general improvements (more reliable communication between your wallbox and our IT system/backend)

• Updated EksignCertificate (guarantees the connectivity of wallboxes with Internet capability to our IT system)

• Improved WiFi connection and stability
• Improved LTE connection and stability
• Improved reliable transfer of kWh data
