Planning and installation of charging infrastructure
The result of a site analysis decides whether planning is required. This may depend on whether a building permit or further detailed plans are needed such as structural analysis to assess how the charging infrastructure can be installed. In a planning project, all trades needed for the installation are integrated into detailed technical plans.
The outcome of the planning process is a charging infrastructure mapped out in every detail, including the required documents and permits as well as an installation offer.
In case of smaller projects (e.g. a small number of charge points; no planning for civil works), separate project planning can be dispensed with if all critical issues can be fully resolved in the site analysis.
If necessary, the transformer equipment and the primary and sub-distribution set-up can be adapted to the requirements of the future charging infrastructure. In addition, cable runs, excavations and foundations are prepared, cables are laid and the charging equipment is installed and commissioned.
Small projects – no planning phase
If the site analysis indicates a low-complexity project, you can move forward to the construction and installation stages relatively quickly.
Our services in the installation phase
Order finalisation meeting
for final confirmation that both parties understand all aspects of the project
Review
of possible need for advance planning
Procurement of all materials
Construction launch meeting onsite
to clarify the course of construction and any special considerations with the customer
Construction work
of the ordered services and commissioning of the charge points
You receive the following

Handover of charge points including commissioning documentation, orientation
Larger projects with planning phase
Complex projects require thorough planning with clearly defined intermediate steps. This is the case, for example, with more than approx. 10 AC charge points / civil works / transformer replacement / DC charging. This is assessed during the site analysis.
Our services in the planning phase
Order finalisation meeting
for comparison of the planning with the existing local conditions
Obtaining the required documents
such as permits, cable location data and site plans
Assessment of the grid connection conditions
with the grid operator
Preparation of planning documents (e.g. site plans) and definition of the necessary construction measures
Compilation of an individual list of services and a construction schedule
The planning process does not include tax or legal advice.
You receive the following
Planning documents (site map with concept drawing, ground plans).
Follow-up enquiry to grid operator, including result of grid operator’s assessment.
