Your mission

  • Ability to formulate and communicate a strategic vision for the product, aligning it with the broader goals of the company and the evolving landscape of the energy sector
  • In-depth knowledge of the energy market including regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct thorough market analyses, identify potential business opportunities
  • The ability to develop and execute comprehensive market positioning strategies for energy solutions, considering the unique value propositions and competitive advantages within the dynamic energy sector
  • Solid financial understanding to develop business cases and ensure that business decisions align with profitability goals
  • Expertise in managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch and post-launch optimization, this includes defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features and ensuring the product meets quality standards
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support

Your profile

  • University degree in economics, marketing, energy management, or a similar qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product management role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product lifecycle management, including product planning, development, launch, and post-launch optimization within the energy retail industry (or related)
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting market analyses, competitor assessments, and customer research in the energy sector, previous roles should include responsibilities related to understanding and adapting to market trends
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in product development environments. 
  • A history of successful collaboration with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams is essential
  • Ability to navigate through German legislation and regulation translating it into requirements for new and existing products.
  • You are a good communicator and fluent in German and English
The position is assigned to grade I according to the Elli function grading.
