Our goal is to build the leading platform for all charging related services. Right now we already operate tenths of thousands of Elli/Volkswagen Group electric vehicle charging stations at customer’s homes and dealerships. In the upcoming years we want to become one of the leading providers for eco-friendly smart-home products and disrupt the energy market by leveraging the possibilities of electromobility. 
 
Within Elli you will join the international product development team, which is responsible for developing and sourcing electric vehicle charging stations. You will take the responsibility to ensure that all the defined requirements will be integrated in newly developed products at external suppliers. You will be working closely together with the technical project management, system engineering, industrialization and test engineers.

Your mission

• Follow the external development of standards (for example ISO15118 and EEBUS) and analyse possible effects regarding Elli’s solution  
• Ensure that our solution fulfils all the needed hard- and software requirements  
• Take responsibility for the hardware capabilities to ease the integration / update of new software functionalities  
• Support the quality team with test procedures and feedback regarding charging functionalities  
• Collaborate with Elli, other Volkswagen Group entities and supplier to secure an efficient development of all the needed hardware enabler  
• Support the release process of Elli’s hardware 
• Definition of safety analyses like Hara  

Your profile

• Master in a technical field  or comparable qualification  
• Experience in development of IoT/Communication hardware  
• Experience in security methods (hardware and software) and their implementation  
• Knowledge of embedded systems and programming  
• Your German and English language skills are on a business fluent level
• Customer driven thinking
