Embedded Electronics Engineer Charging Solutions (m/f/x)

Right now we already operate tenths of thousands of Elli/Volkswagen Group electric vehicle charging stations at customer’s homes and dealerships. In the upcoming years we want to become one of the leading providers for eco-friendly smart-home products and disrupt the energy market by leveraging the possibilities of electromobility. 

We are looking for an experienced colleague, supporting the development team in creating next generation charging infrastructure for the global market. You’ll be working in a fast-growing organization which is part of the Volkswagen Group with amazing individuals who are eager to learn but are also excited to share their knowledge.   Your mission

• You will work on the next generation of charging infrastructure, which provides seamless integration of vehicles and charging devices into the energy infrastructure
• You will create requirements documents for electronic components and associated test specifications
• You will perform schematic and layout reviews of products, architecture and design proposals charging systems 
• You will plan, monitor, report and support component test in a development project 
• You will be in direct contact with internal and external stakeholders

Your profile

• You have proven experience in (embedded) electronics design as an Electrical/Embedded Engineer (m/w/f) or comparable qualification 
• You have several years of professional experience in power electronics and electronics development and EMC knowledge
• You have experience in work with engineering tools (e.g. Altium-Designer, LT-Spice)
• You have an understanding about electrical norms/standards
• Your German and English language skills are on a business fluent level
• You have analytical, conceptual and system-oriented thinking
